Swagbucks

Tips and Tricks to Earn Points on Swagbucks!!!

There are so many ways to earn Swagbucks. I am making a list of ways to earn, you can pick and choose which ones you like to do best or which ones earn faster for you. It's all about preference. Some of the things, I personally don't like doing, but other people may like them.

I hope this list helps you to understand how to use Swagbucks and how to earn Amazon Gift Cards and other rewards. Also, if you have any questions at all about any of it, just ask and I will answer the best way that I can.

It only takes 450 Swagbucks to cash out for a $5 Amazon Gift Card. There are other rewards as well if you don't want that.

If you don't have a Swagbucks account yet, you can sign up Here!!!

  • Toolbar - If you download the toolbar, every time you log in, you earn 1 swagbuck.
  • Homepage - Check the homepage for any videos, offers or surveys. Just go down the page and see what they have to offer.
  • Daily Earning Checklist - It's located on the homepage of Swagbucks - on the right hand side below the My Daily Goal. In the Checklist is the toolbar (it shows where you earned the 1 swagbuck for the day), Daily Poll - which is a one question poll worth 1 swagbuck, and NOSO - just skip to bypass all the offers till you get the popup for 2 swagbucks. You can do each of these daily. Just by doing those, you have earned an easy 4 swagbucks.
  • My Daily Goal - Each day there is a daily goal to reach. It doesn't matter what you do to earn swagbucks, it will count towards your daily goal. If you reach the daily goal, you will earn bonus points. All bonus points will be added to your account the following month. (You can earn a lot of points this way).
  • Search Bar - On Swagbucks Homepage, there is a search bar at the top. You can do daily searches to earn Swagbucks. *Note - Not all searches will result in Swagbucks, just keep searching till you win some.
  • SwagCodes - Every so often, Swagbucks comes out with Swagcodes. These can usually be found either on their Facebook page, Twitter page, blog, homepage or on the Swidget (I have a Swidget located on the bottom of my blog). To use the Swidget, just click search for code. You can also search for code if you have the Toolbar downloaded as well. On the toolbar, just click Check for Swagbuck. Enter the swagcodes in the Gimme Box on the homepage. *Note - NEVER share the swagcode - that means, don't post it on facebook, etc or your account could be banned if caught doing this.
  • Coupons - Go to the top of the Homepage to where it says Earn, there will be a drop down menu. Go to Coupons. You get 10 Swagbucks for every coupon that you print and redeem at your local grocery store. (Earn Swagbucks while saving money).
  • Daily Deals - This is also located in the Earn drop down menu. These you earn Swagbucks if you buy these items. *Note - This is optional and not a must to earn Swagbucks, but if you are already buying these items, might as well earn Swagbucks while doing it.
  • Games - Also located in the Earn drop down menu. This is a fun way to kill time and earn Swagbucks while doing it. You can play the Free Games and periodically earn Swagbucks while you're playing or you can enter the Tournaments and earn Big Swagbucks.
  • Shop & Earn - Located in the Earn Drop down menu. This is where if you purchase an item, you get Swagbucks for it. Kind of like cash back, except Swagbucks instead. For example - you get 3 Swagbucks per Dollar you spend at Best Buy.
  • Special Offers - Again in the Earn drop down menu. This has 6 different categories. *TrialPay- has different paid offers. I usually look for videos to do in there, easy Swagbucks. *RadiumOne - I usually do the videos on here, easy 1 and 2 swagbucks. *Paymentwall - Has surveys that you can do or free offers. Sometimes videos as well. *SuperRewards - has random offers. Look for any of the 1-2 pt offers because those are usually the easiest things to do. *PeanutLabs - Has videos, surveys and free offers. *SponsorPay - another one with random offers. The easiest from any of these are if you come across any videos, do them. They are usually short videos that will give you 1-2 swagbucks each. *Note - some of these offers you need to leave open until it credits you, up to 10 mins.
  • Swagbucks or SBTV - This has random videos that you can watch to earn points. You get 3 Swagbucks for every 10 videos that you watch. Some videos are shorter than others, which I try to go for the shortest ones (but if they are too short, you will have to watch 2 of them to get credit). This is easy and best to do if you are doing other things, as it can get boring and time consuming for such little bit of points.
  • Tasks - These are different tasks that you can do to earn points. Just follow the instructions on how to do each task.
  • Trade-Ins - You can trade in books, games or consoles for Swagbucks.
  • Trusted Surveys - Here you can find surveys to do. Some of these can take awhile, and some you can get disqualified for. It's just like with survey sites. But, you can also earn a lot of swagbucks doing these surveys. Even if you don't qualify, you still earn swagbucks.
  • Hourly Random Winner - Every hour on the homepage they announce a random winner. The winner gets 1,000 Swagbucks. This is very rare and hard to win. LOL
  • Mega Swagbucks Friday - Every Friday they have a Mega Swagbucks Day. Which means that you could earn more Swagbucks during your searches that day. I have earned 50 swagbucks before doing a search on Friday.
  • Special Bills - On Special Occasions they will have Special Bills out. You will get these during your normal searches. If you collect all of the Special Bills, you will earn Bonus Swagbucks.
  • Messages - On the top of the homepage, you'll see an icon of a white envelope. It will be red with a number if you have messages. I always check those because sometimes there are easy videos to watch in them.

I Hope you got all that. LOL If not, you can always come back to this page as reference. Once you get the hang of it, Swagbucks is really easy to use and just so many different ways to earn points.

Shannon, I have been doing swagbucks for awhile & I follow the Facebook page. Someone posted a comment about paying taxes on their winnings. Do you know if we have to pay taxes? TIA

Any earnings or winnings of $600 or more must be claimed on taxes. That includes anything on swagbucks, survey sites, sweepstakes, etc. Here is the link to swagbucks rules and it does state in there that anything $600 or more must be claimed. I hope that helps. :)
